A long-life low-maintenance battery pak designed for low or infrequent use environments.
The lithium battery pak requires less maintenance than the SLA battery pak since it never requires recharging.
A new lithium battery pak may last up to 5 years when installed in the LIFEPAK 500 AED under optimal conditions.

X PHYSIO CONTROL - Battery Support System 2
Intelligent, highly automated system recognizes and optimizes maintenance of both nickel cadmium (NiCd) and sealed lead acid (SLA) chemistry batteries. May be used with any FASTPAK or LIFEPAK battery (except batteries for the LIFEPAK 5 device).
Sophisticated recognition software allows charging of SLA batteries alongside a NiCd battery. All three battery wells allow charging, conditioning and shelf life testing.
BSS2 is user-friendly and provides a clear indication when batteries are ready to use or need to be discarded.
Includes power cord and operating instructions (batteries not included).
